Biography of the Presenter:
Zhang Dengrong, Ph.D./Professor, is the Dean of the Institute of Remote Sensing and Earth Sciences at Hangzhou Normal University, the Head of the Department of Remote Sensing Geosciences, the Director of the Key Laboratory of Urban Wetlands and Regional Change in Zhejiang Province, and the Director of the Department of Wetland Remote Sensing Research of the National Remote Sensing Center. His main research areas include remote sensing image processing, research and development of geographic information systems, spatial data sharing and interoperability, integrated application of 3S technologies, remote sensing and geographic information engineering, smart cities, smart ecology, etc. He has won 2 Science and Technology Progress Awards of Zhejiang Province and 1 second prize from the Ministry of Land and Resources. He has published 4 research monographs, obtained 20 patents and software copyrights, and published more than 150 papers, among which more than 80 are included in SCI/EI.
